AMW Capital Leasing and Finance PLC is a Sri Lanka-based finance company. The Company is engaged in granting lease facilities, hire purchase facilities, mortgage loans and acceptance of deposits. The Company’s segments comprise of Finance Lease, Hire Purchase, Term Loans and Unallocated. Finance Lease includes assets leased to customers, which transfer substantially all the risks and rewards associated with ownership other than legal title (absolute ownership). Hire Purchase segment includes assets hired to customers under hire Purchase agreements, which transfer all the risks and rewards incidental to ownership as well as the legal title at the end of such contractual period. Term Loans segment includes loans given to individual and institutional customers. Operating Lease segment includes leases where the lessor effectively retains substantially all the risks and rewards of ownership over the leased term. Unallocated segment include other operations.
