I think you're answering your own question unfortunately. Until China and Australia make amends from a trade point of view, and until Australia re-opens it's borders for tourism and chinese students coming back to australian universities, the Daigou channel will not pick up, and therefore A2 sales to China will not cause the recovery you need.
