The pivot points indicator is an accurate tool to trade price action. The indicator follows closely the price action since its own formula uses the prices of every trading session.

The pivots are best used over the opening market within the first two hours of trading either overlaps or not.

Its also a perfect tool to measure the open interest. It helps you understand when prices are being hold on buy or sell during the trading session to hold positions for the long term or not.
