guys 15.12344 year end.
I thing this number is for tomorow.
😂
büyük bir oyunun içindeyiz
Sıfırlama oyunu, insan bi aşılınca sıfırlamadan duramıyor.
Aynen… oyunun adı Erdoğan Family
BTC looks more stable !
Maybe erdogan is a big shorter of turkey currency
year end 15.000
seems really high. I would say 12 or 12.5 doable
do you believe now, your 12-12.5 already met.
junk currency
Turkey has gold reserves and exporter of gold. This devaluation of currency is just "temporary" monetary mismanagement. I'm pretty sure lira will bounce back at some point (just can't give a timeline)
Mr. Erdogan has brought the beautiful country of Turkey to the brink of destruction, and in addition to devaluing the Turkish national currency, he has incited all European neighbors and countries to war, which is very dangerous and he should know that he is a dictator.
Japanese Yen dropped from 0.0097 to 0.0088 since last year.
USD/JPY 2019 is 109, 2020 is 106, 2021 is 109. No change at all. In the meantime Turkish Lire has lost its value %100. I don't see the relevance.
Zain the licker: Japanese yen is a stable currency while Japan is one of the high gdp per capita countries. What is the point of these meaningless comparisons; it is like comparing an apple with an apple worm…
They are good at removing zeros, so if they remove another zero from TRY, then 1 USD = 1.089 TRY. Problem solved 😬!
😂😂😂👍
😂😂
Incomprehensible. I have seen lots of incredible things in my 50 years in life but this is beyond comprehension. Nothing makes any sense in Turkey anymore. As long as Erdogan is in power, it's meaningless to discuss economics. To my Turkish friends: Think before you vote next time. Anyone will be better than your current president. Get rid of him. He is destroying your country. And yes, I was wrong about him at the beginning. I wish you all good luck and I'm out of here, not following this anymore. Bye.
Finally, you found the true way and got a fair mind. But I think this already costed you a lot:(
it serves him right, since2 yesrs i tried to tell him
RTE “I am an economist:)” next meeting will be ended with another interest cut. Rate will go upper and upper. I said many times long time ago: if the rate reaches 8.8 or higher the sky will be the limit for it! Check my previous comments!
I think the Turkish government is compensating for its budget deficit by devaluing its national currency, just like Iran is doing.
It doesn't work because the manufacturers buy raw materials and components in USD from outside. Plus they have debts in USD. They lose more than they gain in long term.
Erdogan said today that he'll continue his fight for lower interest rates. I would not be surprised if there is a substantial rate hike tomorrow. Why? He said exactly the same words few years ago when the central bank suddenly reversed its rate reduction decision and hiked the rates again. And Erdogan said, he will continue his fight. By saying this, he distances himself from the central bank action (doesn't lose his face). After he said this today, USD went above 10.50. His family and friends might have sold a good amount of USD today only to buy it back at a lower price after the rate hike tomorrow. All this might be a game. If there's a rate hike tomorrow, this will support my suspicion. If it happens, after a month he will fire the guy again to increase the price and the cycle continues. Isn't it strange that these cycles continue since almost a decade with the same pattern? If you know the power of your words, you can manipulate the market and make good profits (billions).
No way for rate hike but cut is high possible. Btw RTE and his family do not keep their money in Turkey. Everyone knows it
This month central bank plans to cut interest rate 100 points, and then usd will end up 11+
if central bank drop 2 point tl will go to 12.5
Historically every major devaluation was followed by a military coup or early elections. These levels are not sustainable nor reasonable. An imminent change of regime is a must now. Turkey can't wait another 1.5 years. Every day is a loss.
Finally you got the true way. And the trolls are silent, but still they read every comment:))
liyra destroyed. really very sad news
RTE: we are rewriting the book of the economics:)) ( he said that)
Well, now we all know how useful this book is (ironic)
TUR etf up 4.6% today regardless of depreciation of Lira
10/10 well deserved
11 next ..... ?
RTE: I am an economist:)😂
Check out Tur etf: lira got up 10% in a month but TUR is going sideway. Once lira is stabilised (it has to), Tur will be soaring. Its an asymmetric bet.
Where are the lira defenders? They have been continously supporting Erdogan and his administration! Hopefully you lost a lot!
Lol
I dont care for politics. But Turkey's debt to Gbp is at a manageable level of 40%. Yes, ATM lira looks weak but Turkey has significant gold reserves and also a major exporter of gold. It will not have much issue issuing bonds to pay off existing debt (interest). I can't see how its economy gonna collapse like Greece. US on the other hand has already found itself being 3rd highest Debt-to-GDP in the world. Usd will loose its role as global reserve currency status probably 5 to 10 years from now.
If you are interested in lira, you have to check domestic politics and Erdogan. He says “I am an economist” but he knows nothing about the economy!
Thanks erdogan easy easy easy profits
Down a fair bit overnight
its headed only one way
