Financial Markets Journalist

We are seeking a full-time Financial Markets Journalist to provide fast-paced news coverage of the US and global financial markets. This role is a remote working opportunity and can be done anywhere on the East coast in the US.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be required to publish three to five medium-length articles per day on a range of financial topics. Articles should average 250 to 500 words in length, blending fast-paced news with quick, insightful analysis. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and use initiative but will receive editorial guidance and feedback.

Requirements:

• Must be a native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of the financial markets, Wall Street, commodities, Fed policies and company news.
• Experience in writing on business or finance topics.
• Tech-savvy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
