Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 0.48% or 180.0 points to trade at 37680.0 at the close. Cemargos (CN:CCB) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 11960.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was unchanged 0% or 0 points to 4095.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 4.51% or 110.0 points to trade at 2330.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.59% or 370.0 points to end at 9930.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 2.69% or 0.5 points to 18.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 25 to 3 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 4.13% or 5.90 to $136.98 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 5.20% or 165.50 to hit $3016.00 , while the August Gold contract rose 4.65% or 58.75 to trade at $1321.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 2.66% to 2972.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.44% to 879.86.
The US Dollar Index was up 2.48% at 95.64.
